The Slide Inn is located on the banks of the Madison River, one of the most famous blue-ribbon trout streams in the world. Our 1,100 feet of river frontage provides some of the finest fly-fishing in Montana. During the beautiful days of Spring and Summer, you can literally step out of your cabin and catch some of the largest Rainbow and Brown Trout that inhabit the Madison. You can also get valuable fly fishing instruction from the best fly fishing guides on the Madison River. Fly fishing with streamers is a favorite tactic that our guides know well and you can find all the flies, and gear you need right here at the fly shop. In fact, The Slide Inn has one of the finest streamer selections in the country.
The Slide Inn has three classes of beautiful river-front cabins, 23 full hookup RV sites, and showers and laundry facilities for our guests.
In our Fly Shop we offer everything you will need for your trip. Our guides are top notch, and will assure you the best day on the river possible. In the shop we have thousands of flies as well as products from St. Croix, Patagonia, Simms, Lamson, Scientific Anglers and many more.
